3 And Out: Wild Card Weekend 2016

Welcome to 3 And Out where we take a look at three of the biggest games from the upcoming week. Wild Card Weekend is here and that means we have an extra down of football goodness. The 3 And Out of Wild Card Weekend opens up with the worst of the best as the 9-7 Houston Texans host the 12-4 Oakland Raiders. The Raiders were cruising towards winning the AFC West and a first round bye, that was until they lost Derek Carr. Now they will be going on the road with an unproven or quite possibly a rookie quarterback. The Texans have qb concerns of their own. This is not what the NFL had envisioned for their first game of the post season. Saturday Night takes us back to the NFC as Russell Wilson and the 10-5-1 Seattle Seahawks host Matt Stafford and the 9-7 Detroit Lions. The Lions have cooled off as of late losing their last two games and the Seahawks have been up and down all season long. One thing we do know is that 12’s will be loud and rowdy giving the home team a definite edge. Sunday’s action takes us to Pittsburgh for a rematch between the 10-6 Miami Dolphins and the 11-5 Pittsburgh Steelers. The Dolphins won the regular season showdown but that was with a healthy Ryan Tannehill. It looks like they will have to go with Matt Moore at qb on Sunday. Fortunately for Steeler fan their offense is as healthy as they’ve been all year including the first playoff appearance with their triplets Big Ben, Lev Bell, and Antonio Brown. The Sunday finale takes us to the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field as Aaron Rodgers and the 10-6 Green Bay Packers host Eli Manning and the 11-5 New York Giants. This tasty game features two Super Bowl MVP quarterbacks facing off, not too shabby. So much NFL Playoff goodness. Get your fix right here with Casey and Dave as we go 3 And Out!
