Sunday 6-Pack: Divisional Weekend 2016

Hello and welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. It’s Divisional Weekend, and it’s the time where we find out who the big boys are. Saturday got it started but there wasn’t the completely awesome football we expected, but there was still some playoff awesomeness on display. We got things started down in the dirty as the Atlanta Falcons were hosting the Seattle Seahawks. The game started great for the Seahawks as they opened up with a 14 play drive that ended with a Jimmy Graham touchdown. That was just about the end of the good news for the 12’s as Atlanta responded with a huge drive of their own on route to the 36-20 victory, and are the first team advancing to the conference championship. The nightcap took us up to New England as the Patriots were hosting the Houston Texans. The Pats were huge favorites in this game and despite two Tom Brady interceptions, the Patriots had all they needed and more to win the game, and win big. The Patriots crushed the Texans 34-16 on their way to their 6th straight AFC Championship. Sunday’s action got started in Big D as the Dallas Cowboys were hosting the Green Bay Packers. The Pack jumped out to a huge lead only to see Dallas score 15 unanswered to tie it up late. After the teams exchanged field goals, Rodgers turned a 3rd and 20 into a first down. That set Mason Crosby up for the game winner from 51. The Pack win 34-31. The Sunday finale took us to Kansas City as the Chiefs were playing host to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers moved the ball with ease, but came away with only field goals, leaving the Chiefs within striking distance. In the fourth quarter a costly holding penalty by the Chiefs wiped out the game tying two point conversion. The Steelers held on for the 18-16 victory. Help crack open this tasty Sunday 6-Pack with Casey and Dave. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that KNOW football.
