Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. Well, here we are a month into the new season and so far the league is definitely on crazy pills. There are huge underdogs winning each week, plenty of overtime games, and absolutely no sure things. The closest thing there is to money in the bank is the New England Patriots. They were down in Tampa to play the Bucs on Thursday Night Football. It wasn’t pretty but the Patriots do what they always do and pulled it out in a 19-14 win. Up next it was a bird battle in the City of Brotherly Love as the red hot Philadelphia Eagles were hosting the Arizona Cardinals. The Eagles were anything except brotherly hosts as they proceeded to roll the Cardinals 34-7. Then it was up to the Motor City for a big time cat battle as the Detroit Lions were hosting the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers went up big, but then had to claw and scratch just to hang on, but Cam and the Panthers did hold on for the huge 27-24 win. Then it was down to Big D as the Dallas Cowboys were hosting the Green Bay Packers in a rematch of last year’s epic NFC Divisional Playoff game. And just like the playoff game, Aaron Rodgers broke hearts in Dallas as Green Bay wins again 35-31. Our next tasty story took us back to the West Coast for an NFC West showdown as the Los Angeles Rams were hosting the Seattle Seahawks. It was one hell of a defensive battle, but it was the LOB that got it done, holding the Rams out of the end zone to preserve the 16-10 win. We wrap up this 6-Pack with some total fantasy domination.
