Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. We love Week 12 in the NFL, as that is the week we get started with a Thanksgiving triple dipper. Our show starts off in Detroit where the Lions were hosting the Minnesota Vikings. This was most likely Detroit’s last chance to catch the Vikes in the North, and they were unable to do so. Riding with great defense and pretty good offense Minnesota held on for the 30-23 win. The win improves their record to 9-2, increases their lead in the NFC North, and puts them in position to get at least one home game in the playoffs. Feeling Minnesota is a whole different deal this season. Up next it was the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Los Angeles Chargers. It’s definitely been a tail of two seasons for both of these teams, but it’s the Chargers who are trending in the right direction. Philip Rivers shredded the Cowboys defense while the Cowboy’s offense was nowhere to be found. When the turkey was all gone, so were the Cowboys playoff hopes as the Chargers rolled 28-6. Then it was onto Sunday’s action, as we picked it up in Kansas City as the Chiefs were hosting the Buffalo Bills. Last week Sean McDermott thought it was a good idea to bench Tyrod Taylor, turns out that was a terrible idea. This week Tyrod was back to starting and did just enough to lead the bills to the 16-10 victory. Up next it was back out to Hollywood as our Los Angeles Rams were hosting the New Orleans Saints. The Saints had won eight in a row before Sunday’s matchup with the Rams. It was the Rams defense that was Ram tough on Sunday frustrating Drew Brees and the high powered Saints offense for most of the day. When all was said and done it was the Rams who came away with the huge 26-20 victory. Then it was up the coast to Oakland and the Black Hole where the Oakland Raiders were hosting the Denver Broncos. This marked Paxton Lynch’s first NFL start. Sparks were definitely flying after the opening whistle but it was mostly because a brawl broke out on the sideline. Ultimately Talib and Crabtree were both ejected and when the dust finally settled it was all Raiders all day. Oakland kept their playoff hopes alive with the 21-14 win. We finish off this 6-Pack with some total fantasy domination. Help Casey and Dave crack open this super tasty Week 12 edition of the Sunday 6-Pack. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that know football!
