Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. Week 12 got going on Thursday with an uber tasty Thanksgiving triple header. We got things motoring in Detroit as Matt Stafford and the Detroit Lions were hosting the Chicago Bears. The Bears were without Trubs for this one but Chase Daniel came in and the Bears didn’t miss a beat. Sprinkle in some dominating defense and Chicago rolled to their 5th straight win defeating the Lions 23-16. Up next it was Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys hosting hated division rivals, the Washington Redskins. The Skins came in without Alex Smith who was lost for the year. That mean it was time for Colt McCoy to get the start. Colt was no stranger to the Dallas area, but he was also no stranger to turnovers either. The Dallas defense came up big with three interceptions. Tack on three Dak Prescott td’s including 40 and 90 yard touchdown passes to newly acquired Armani Cooper and the Boys feasted on Skins, gaining a share of first place with their third win in a row crushing Washington 31-23. The night cap looked sweet on paper as Drew Brees and the red hot New Orleans Saints were hosting Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. Brees didn’t even need two hundred yards to throw his four touchdowns, and the Saints didn’t need much else as they rolled to their tenth straight win. And the Falcons are all but dead for the postseason following the 31-17 loss. Then it was onto Sunday’s action with an NFC battle with huge playoff implications as Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers hosted Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. This game felt like a playoff game and it will have major playoff implications moving forward. Even though Christian McCaffrey was unstoppable it was Dangeruss Wilson who would get the last laugh. A couple of huge throws down the stretch including a 35 yard touchdown on 4th and 3. When the final whistle blew, the Hawks escaped with the 30-27 win. In the battle of NFC East cellar dwellers it was the New York Giants visiting the free falling Philadelphia Eagles. It started out all Giants because they were featuring Saquon Barkley who was dominating. In typical Giants fashion, they completely bailed on what was working, they also completely bailed on the win. The Eagles somehow stay alive in the playoff race, beating the Giants 25-22. We finish off this 6-Pack with some total fantasy domination. Help Casey and Dave crack open this super tasty Week 12 edition of the Sunday 6-Pack. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that KNOW football!
