Sunday 6-Pack: Week 1 2016

Hello and welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. The 2016 season is finally here, and the NFL has brilliantly created one of the best traditions in sports. For the last few years the defending Super Bowl champs open up the season on Thursday Night Football with a mega Monday Night Football doubleheader. So much NFL goodness.  Well the champs no longer have Peyton Manning, but they still had some kryptonite left over from the Super Bowl as Trevor Seimian in his first NFL start triumphed over Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers with the 21-20 victory. The tone for the season was set with that game on Thursday night as Sunday started with insane action too. Jack Del Rio decided to go for two instead of going for the tie and the Raiders stunned the Saints with the 35-34 win. It was more heartbreak for the Chargers in Kansas City as the Chiefs rallied from 21 down to shock the Bolts in OT 33-27. Up next it’s the NFC East as the Cowboys hosted the Giants in a Week 1 battle. No pressure for a rookie quarterback making his first NFL start. Dan Prescott played well, but the Cowboy comeback ran out of time as the Giants scored the 20-19 win. The late games were just as tasty, especially in Seattle as Russell Wilson led the Seahawks on the game winning drive with only seconds left to lift the Hawks to the 12-10 win. We finish off this Sunday 6-Pack with a look at who destroyed the rest of the league and hopefully made you some cash with Total Fantasy Domination. Help crack open this tasty Sunday 6-Pack with Casey and Dave. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that KNOW football.
