Sunday 6-Pack: Conference Championship Weekend 2016

Hello and welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. It’s Conference Championship Weekend. We are down to the final four teams. The best of the best did battle this Sunday to earn a trip to Super Bowl LI. We get things started in the NFC as Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons were hosting Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Falcons destroyed the Seattle Seahawks last week, with Matty Ice throwing for over 300 yards and three touchdowns in the 36-20 win. Aaron Rodgers was red hot last week too while making some unbelievable throws beating the Cowboys in Dallas 34-31. This game was more of the same for the Falcons, they got out to a big lead and never looked back. Matt Ryan threw for almost 400 yards and had 5 total touchdowns in the Green Bay beat down. It’s on to Super Bowl LI for the Falcons as they rolled 44-21. In the AFC it was Tom Brady and the New England Patriots hosting Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last week the Steelers scored 18 the hard way but limited the Chiefs to only 16 points in the Divisional matchup. The Patriots weren’t their best either but were still plenty good enough to dispose of the Texans 34-16. This week the Brady Bunch got out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and it looked like it might turn into a blowout, and that’s exactly what happened. Early in the game the Steelers lost LeVeon Bell to an injury and they couldn’t recover as the Patriots rolled to the 36-17 victory. Super Bowl LI is all set. Nothing left to do but help crack open this tasty Sunday 6-Pack with Casey and Dave. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that KNOW football.
