Sunday 6-Pack: 2017 Week 1 Recap

Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. The new NFL Season kicked off on Thursday with the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots hosting the Kansas City Chiefs. Everybody predicted a huge victory, but nobody predicted it would be the Chiefs putting a beatdown on the Pats 42-27. Sunday’s action got started with Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans hosting the Oakland Raiders. Derek Carr and the Raiders went vertical and scored their first win of the season 26-16. Up next it was the other participant in last year’s Super Bowl the Atlanta Falcons heading to Chicago to take on the Bears. The Falcons didn’t have a hang over, just a little grogginess, but still had enough to beat Da Bears 23-16. The afternoon gave us one of the best matchups of Week 1 as Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers hosted Russel Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. This game was a low scoring defensive battle, but in the end the Rodgers was too much for the LOB as the Pack won 17-9. There are five rookie head coaches making their NFL debuts this week. We take a look at how Sean McDermott, Kyle Shanahan, and Sean McVay did in their first opportunity being large and in charge. We wrap up this 6-Pack with a look at total fantasy domination. Help Casey and Dave crack open this super tasty Week 1 edition of the Sunday 6-Pack. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that know football!
