Sunday 6-Pack: 2017 Week 3 Recap

Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. We got Week 3 kicked off on Thursday Night Football. This was a battle for California as the San Francisco 49ers were hosting the Los Angeles Rams. This turned out to be one helluva game that went down to the wire. but in the end Todd Gurley was too much man for the 49ers as the Rams held on for the 41-39 win. Up next it was an NFC East battle as the Philadelphia Eagles were hosting the winless New York Giants. As per always this was another grimy divisional battle. The Eagles held a lead most of the game until the Giants scored on four straight fourth quarter drives. But ultimately it was rookie Jake Elliott nailing a 61 yard game winning field goal to keep the G-Men winless. Eagles get the 27-24 win. Then it was off to Buffalo as the Bills were hosting the undefeated Denver Broncos. The Broncos jumped out to an early lead but the Bills fought back and took over late, eventually winning 26-16. Our next tasty story took place in Detroit in a battle of undefeated NFC heavyweights as the Lions hosted the Atlanta Falcons. It looked like Detroit was going to steal the victory with Golden Tate’s second td of the day. But after further review, the officials took the score off the board which secured the Flacons 30-26 win. Then it was up to Gillette Stadium as the New England Patriots were hosting the Houston Texans. Deshaun Watson was once again very exciting and that Texans defense was pretty good, but when the game was on the line, Tom Brady was great. TB!2 saved his 5th td pass of the day for the last 30 seconds of the game, giving the Patriots the come from behind 36-33 win. We wrap up this 6-Pack with some total fantasy domination. Help Casey and Dave crack open this super tasty Week 3 edition of the Sunday 6-Pack. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that know football!
