Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. Last week we felt like we were all doped up on crazy pills, Week 6 gave us the same sensation. We got things kicked off on Thursday Night Football with the Carolina Panthers hosting the Philadelphia Eagles. This game matched up two of the best teams in the NFC, and this game didn’t disappoint. Even with Carson Wentz’s three td’s, the Panthers still had a chance to win the game late. But on 4th and one, Cam threw one into the dirt preserving the Eagles 28-23 win. It was out to Baltimore as the Ravens were hosting the Chicago Bears. It was Mitch Trubisky getting just his second start of his promising young career and he needed a little more than the regulation time allotted to secure his first NFL victory, but secure it he did as the Bears shocked the Ravens 27-24 in overtime. Then it was up to Minnesota for a classic NFC North battle as the Minnesota Vikings were hosting the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay fans had their worst nightmares come to life as they lost Aaron Rodgers most likely for the year with a broken clavicle. They also lost the game. Vikings move into first place with the 23-10 victory. Then we had an LA double dip as both the Rams and the Chargers went on the road and picked up huge wins. The Rams went down to to Jacksonville and beat the Jags 27-17. While the Chargers used a last second field goal to hand the Raiders their 4th loss in a row by the score of 17-16. Our last late game took us to Kansas City for a rematch of last year’s AFC Divisional Playoff game as the Chiefs were hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Chiefs got reintroduced to Mr. Le’Veon Bell who proceeded to run for almost two hundred yards as the Steelers knocked the Chiefs out of the ranks of the undefeated with the 19-13 win.
