Sunday 6-Pack: 2018 NFL Hall of Fame Weekend Recap

Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. The 2018 NFL Season is almost here and as always the biggest event before the season officially gets started is Hall of Fame Weekend. The 2018 Class was highlighted by some of the best ever to play the game. Inductees like Brian Urlacher, Ray Lewis, Terrell Owens, and Randy Moss now join the best team ever created. Along with the glory that follows the HOF ceremonies is also the more often dreadful than not news ticker. Every time you see that scroll at the bottom of your screen you wince, just hoping it’s not reporting a season ending injury for one of your team’s best players. What we’ve come to learn here at the Football Radio Show is that the ticker is not your friend. Up next we take a quick look at the new wave of what teams are hoping to be their new franchise quarterbacks. There were five quarterbacks drafted in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, we’ll soon get to see all of them on the field starting with the overall number one pick in the draft, the Heisman trophy winning and former Oklahoma Sooner quarterback Baker Mayfield. We then shift our focus to last year’s rookie signal callers who are back for their sophomore season. We’re talking Trubisky, Mahomes, and Watson. And after a quick recap of the Hall of Fame game between the Chicago Bears and the Baltimore Ravens, the Football Dudes will have you ready for the regular season. Help Casey and Dave crack open this super tasty Hall of Fame Weekend edition of the Sunday 6-Pack. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that know football!
