Sunday 6-Pack: Week 3 2018

Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. The NFL watching world got a huge gift on Thursday Night Football as the Cleveland Browns were hosting the New York Jets. We were all hoping that we would get to see the top two drafted quarterbacks in Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold do battle. Unfortunately Tyrod Taylor got hurt early, but fortunately that meant it was time to shake and bake. Off the bench and into Cleveland folklore Baker Mayfield led the huge comeback victory for the Browns giving them the 21-17 win, their first in almost 700 days. Congrats Brownies and Dilly Dilly to you! Up next, it was Pat Mahomes and the red hot Kansas City Chiefs hosting the San Francisco 49ers. This one wasn’t quite as close as it looked, but either way the Chiefs rolled to the 38-27 victory. Adding injury to insult, the Niners fear Jimmy Garoppolo may have torn his ACL. Up Next it was and NFC South showdown as Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons were hosting Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. We needed overtime to settle this one. The good news is this one didn’t end in a tie. It was Drew Brees taking the opening drive in overtime to the end zone and to the victory column winning 43-37. Then it was off to our backyard for the Battle for Los Angeles as Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams hosted Philip Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Rams started fast and finished strong. Claiming round one in The Battle for Los Angeles, it was the Rams with the 35-23. Up next it was out to the Emerald City as Russel Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks were hosting Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Earl Thomas made his presence felt early with a first quarter interception and sealed the deal with a 4th quarter interception as well. This game was all Seattle. Hawks get their first win of the season beating the Cowboys 24-13. We finish off this 6-Pack with some total fantasy domination. Help Casey and Dave crack open this super tasty Week 15 edition of the Sunday 6-Pack. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that know football!
