Sunday 6-Pack: Week 15 2018

Welcome to the Sunday 6-Pack where we crack open six of the tastiest stories in the NFL. Week 15 got going with an AFC West battle on Thursday Night Football. It was Pat Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs hosting Philip Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers. It hasn’t mattered whether the Chargers have been stationed in San Diego or Los Angeles, the Chiefs have had their number. That came to a dramatic end on Thursday after Rivers and company capped coming back from a 14 point 4th quarter deficit with a last second 2 point conversion that gave the Chargers a huge 29-28 win. Sunday’s action brought us an NFC North battle, but this time the rolls were reversed as Mitch Trubisky and the Chicago Bears were hosting Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. It’s usually the Pack that is headed towards the postseason while the Bears are just trying to stay in the mix. Going into this game it was the Bears leading the North. And when it was all over the Bears would be crowned new Kings of the North. Bears beat the Packers 24-17. Then It was Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings hosting Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins. The Fins used a Miami Miracle to beat the Patriots last week, but there was no magic to be had in Minnesota. Minnesota found their running game and runaway with this one. Vikings win big 41-17. In a sick game it was Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts hosting Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. The Colts and Andrew Luck have battled back to prominence winning five of their last six, while the Cowboys came into the game winners of five in a row. However this one was all Colts on both sides of the football. The Colts not only beat a red hot Cowboys team, they shit them out. The Colts stay alive in the AFC Playoff hunt with the 23-0 win. It’s not often that these next two teams come into a game when they’ve both been struggling but that’s what we got when Big Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers were hosting Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. This game had an old school feel, mostly dominated by the defenses. Late in the 4th quarter the Patriots had a chance to tie, but Tom Terrific wasn’t and the Steelers steal the huge 17-10 win. We finish off this 6-Pack with some total fantasy domination. Help Casey and Dave crack open this super tasty Week 15 edition of the Sunday 6-Pack. We’re not the suits that talk football, we’re the dudes that KNOW football!
